Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish

Ruby Red Slippers. Call Me Irresistible. Across The Universe.

I've finally ordered some Deborah Lippmann nail polish. I got the three above and I'm so excited! I can not wait until they arrive. I'll do a little review of each as I wear them.

Salute Me

Alice + Olivia for MAC Nail Polish

I was really excited when I  heard about the Alice + Olivia collection for MAC. I wanted all three polishes. They were out of the blue so I just got the Black which is called Military. All three polishes are sold out on the website. Hopefully they restock so I can get the other two colors and the eyeshadows I want. MAC nail polishes cost $12. This color was well worth it.

I told myself that I would wait until Fall to wear the Military polish because it just seems like it's made for the cooler season. However, lately I haven't been feeling any of the other colors I have. So naturally I turned to the color I've never worn before. I am in love! When I look at the color on my nails, I just think: cool but sophisticated, edgy but classy, Starbucks ready nails. Yes, I got all of that from a nail polish. The polish dries super fast and it can either be worn in it's natural state, which is a matte finish but also looks great with a shiny clear topcoat.

Click the jump to see it on my nails.
MAC x Disney Venomous Villains

MAC and Disney's makeup collection, Venomous Villains, comes out this Fall. It's U.S. launch date is September 2010. The international launch date is set for October 2010.

I'm very excited about this collection with it's dark hues. I can't wait to get my hands on those lipsticks & the nail polish.
Review: Lush Sunnyside Bubble Bar

If you ever want a fun bath, this is the product for you. When I went to LUSH this week, I originally planned on getting just the Honey I Washed the Kids soap. When I was checking out I was looking at this bubble bar. Just by looking at it, I thought, "This does not look like something I want in the bath with me". The sales associate came over and gave my friend and I a demonstration of how it works.

It was so cool! I had to buy it. Heres how it works. You break a piece of the bar off(it's soft). Then you  crumble the piece up in the tub. Then you run your bath water and it creates bubbles! The glitter makes the water slightly shimmery. It become luscious and soft on your skin.

Verdict: LOVE it! I have to stay stocked with this. I can't really smell the scent of it when I'm in the tub but I'm sure that all because I use very little pieces at a time.
Review: Lush Honey I Washed the Kids Soap

I stopped by LUSH this week and picked up some more soap and a bubble bar. The soap I got this time is called Honey I Washed the Kids.

Honey I Washed the Kids smells really good. It smells of honey, naturally. It's a very creamy soap so it moisturizes well. It's smell is more subtle than the first soap I got, Sexy Peel, so I can use this one at night. Like Sexy Peel it cleans really well. Better than any other brand of soap I've tried. It has a layer of beeswax on top, which I don't think will stay on for long. I have sensitive skin. Since their products are made from all natural ingredients, they work well with my skin.

Verdict: I am impressed yet again by LUSH products. They are my new found love!

Review: Lush Sexy Peel Soap

I’ve been wanting to go to Lush for a while now and I finally did. I brought a soap called “Sexy Peel”. It smells so good. I took a bath with it as soon as I came back home. The whole bathroom smells like heaven when you use. I am not exaggerating when I say it’s the best soap I have used in my entire life.
Scent: Citrus-y. I feel like this scent is more for the mornings, so that’s when I’ll use it. The smell is wonderful and it wake you right up.
Price: On the website it says that it is $5.95 for 3.5 oz. In the store you decide how much you pay for it. It’s like 7 something of a fourth of a pound. I asked for a fourth but I guess they cut it smaller so I got $6 worth of soap today. It was about the size of a regular bar of soap. Maybe a little smaller. You can also say like "I want 10 dollars worth of soap.", and they'll cut the soap to the size that costs $10.
This soap is handmade and contains only natural products. It cleans very well, maybe better than all the other soaps I've used in the past. It has orange pieces in it which I think are orange peel.

I also got a sample of Bohemian Body Soap and it smells really good too. I haven't used it yet. I'll do a review on it when I do.
Verdict: If you haven’t tried any of Lush’s products I definitely think you should. You won’t be disappointed.

Korres Watermelon Sunscreen Face Cream SPF 30 ($28)

I love anything that smells like watermelon. So it's no surprise that I was really excited when I heard about a watermelon scented sunscreen. I went on Sephora.com to check it out. I was shocked to find that the sunscreen was a face scream. I don't know how I feel about putting scented sunscreen on my face. If it was sunscreen for your body, I would be ordering this right now!

But I'm a little skeptical about this. I will be making a trip to Sephora to check this out though, soon.

There's also a Watermelon Sunscreen Stick SPF 30. ($24.50)
