Music: Adele "21"

Ever since I started my now not so new job, I've fallen in love with Adele. We listen to her album in the store almost everyday and I can honestly say I never get tired of her. She has a new album coming out on the 22nd of this month. I pre-ordered it from Barnes & Noble and you can do the same. I can't not wait to receive my copy but I'll just listen to "19" until then.

For fans of: Amy Winehouse

Minnetonka Tramper Ankle Hi Boots

These lovely little boots are on their way to me as I type. I ordered them from Shopbop yesterday & they are doing free next day shipping for the month of February. They've been on my shopping list for a while, so I said why not? I have the Minnetonka 'Kitten' moccasins that I live in & these too will be getting a lot of use.

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish

Ruby Red Slippers. Call Me Irresistible. Across The Universe.

I've finally ordered some Deborah Lippmann nail polish. I got the three above and I'm so excited! I can not wait until they arrive. I'll do a little review of each as I wear them.

Classy by Derek Blasberg

Yesterday, I stopped by Barnes & Noble and picked up a couple of books I've been wanting to read. One was Classy by Derek Blasberg. I really like this book. It's funny and very helpful with the various threats against young women today. In this book, Derek Blasberg gives you some tips on how to be a lady, be well-mannered and well-dressed without crossing the lines from sexy to slutty. He also educate young women on how to have fun without being a drunk, loud, attention seeking, "tramp". He covers everything from dating to dinner etiquette. It's a handbook every girl should have, whether you're worried you may be at risk of becoming un-ladylike or just want to learn the meaning of the different dress codes.
It's definitely something I'll be referring to often.

Salute Me

Alice + Olivia for MAC Nail Polish

I was really excited when I  heard about the Alice + Olivia collection for MAC. I wanted all three polishes. They were out of the blue so I just got the Black which is called Military. All three polishes are sold out on the website. Hopefully they restock so I can get the other two colors and the eyeshadows I want. MAC nail polishes cost $12. This color was well worth it.

I told myself that I would wait until Fall to wear the Military polish because it just seems like it's made for the cooler season. However, lately I haven't been feeling any of the other colors I have. So naturally I turned to the color I've never worn before. I am in love! When I look at the color on my nails, I just think: cool but sophisticated, edgy but classy, Starbucks ready nails. Yes, I got all of that from a nail polish. The polish dries super fast and it can either be worn in it's natural state, which is a matte finish but also looks great with a shiny clear topcoat.

Review: Lush Sunnyside Bubble Bar

If you ever want a fun bath, this is the product for you. When I went to LUSH this week, I originally planned on getting just the Honey I Washed the Kids soap. When I was checking out I was looking at this bubble bar. Just by looking at it, I thought, "This does not look like something I want in the bath with me". The sales associate came over and gave my friend and I a demonstration of how it works.

It was so cool! I had to buy it. Heres how it works. You break a piece of the bar off(it's soft). Then you  crumble the piece up in the tub. Then you run your bath water and it creates bubbles! The glitter makes the water slightly shimmery. It become luscious and soft on your skin.

Verdict: LOVE it! I have to stay stocked with this. I can't really smell the scent of it when I'm in the tub but I'm sure that all because I use very little pieces at a time.
Review: Lush Honey I Washed the Kids Soap

I stopped by LUSH this week and picked up some more soap and a bubble bar. The soap I got this time is called Honey I Washed the Kids.

Honey I Washed the Kids smells really good. It smells of honey, naturally. It's a very creamy soap so it moisturizes well. It's smell is more subtle than the first soap I got, Sexy Peel, so I can use this one at night. Like Sexy Peel it cleans really well. Better than any other brand of soap I've tried. It has a layer of beeswax on top, which I don't think will stay on for long. I have sensitive skin. Since their products are made from all natural ingredients, they work well with my skin.

Verdict: I am impressed yet again by LUSH products. They are my new found love!

In The Mail: TOMS!

I have wanted some TOMS for quite some time now. I finally ordered some. I wanted to get the blues ones first but they're out of my size at the moment, so I got these instead. I can't wait until they arrive. I love when I order something online. The anticipation of it showing up on my door step brings me joy :)

New Buys

Drapey Shirt & Bag from Blink Boutique
I am in love with this bag. I saw it in the store but didn't get it at first. When I got home I  still was thinking about it. If something stays on your mind then most likely you should get it! So I went back to Blink and got it :) It's so roomy. I carry like 3 journals in it. And I can also fit my laptop in it.

My mom knows how much I love Harajuku Lovers. She got me these flip flops. I love them!

I went to Borders Sunday and picked up this book. I read a lot of Young Adult & Women Fiction because that's what I'm going to write about when I become a writer. This book is so good, I read it in two days. It has the classic theme of forbidden love.  Now I have to get the next one, which is called Rules of Attraction. Go and get it!

New Buys

I have been adding and adding things to my shopping list non-stop. I keep adding but not checking things off. It's a really bad habit. So today I went on Magazine St. and did a little shopping. I'm proud of myself but I have much more things to get. Stay tuned ;)

This is a Charcoal body con skirt someone bought for me. I couldn't find the link for it but you can buy it at Forever 21
