Stylish Sisters

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen have always been an inspiration to my style & also my life. Their style is beyond words. I was recently looking at pictures of them that are very old, but their outfits in them still amaze me. That's one of the reasons they inspire me so much. They wear things that, a year (or decade) later would still be the most stylish ensembles ever. They know how to chose timeless pieces that will work for them forever.

Fashion Diet

This summer, I've been on what you could call, a fashion diet. I haven't been shopping for clothing. I've spending money on nothing but beauty products and books. This Fall will be an entirely different story. The shopping list I've composed for Autumn may be my best yet. I feel like I really have a sense of what my Fall style will be. I switch styles so often but I feel like this one is really going to stay; I like it that much.

I've been busy with work but I feel bad about abandoning my blog. So now I'm blogging at 1 a.m. That's dedication, no? Don't give up on me just yet. I'm still here.

Last time I wrote, I told you that my Autumn Muses were Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Heidi Klum, Kourney Kardashian, Blair Waldorf, Emma Watson and Ashley Olsen. Well I'm really liking Alexa Chung more than anyone else. She's my main inspiration.

Here are a few of my favorite looks from her:

I love how she can do menswear and look as lovely as she does in a full-skirted dress. This fall, I have a lot of softer items on my list. I usually lean toward the tougher items, but not anymore. I want softer, romantic, ethereal.. With that said, I can't give up my love of androgyny. I'll definitely do menswear but in a softer way, like Alexa Chung. I'm feeling great about this upcoming season.

Love Her!: Kristen Stewart

From her attitude to her style, I love Kristen Stewart. I think it's because I identify with her so much. She doesn't crave attention like every other Hollywood girl. She has a nonchalant attitude, which I also seem to possess. She does things her way and I respect for that. And the fact that she is the star of The Twilight Saga only adds fuel to the fire of my burning love for her. I love when she does photo shoots. You can just tell from the photos what her attitude is like. She is a tough girl but also very fragile. She cares about how people will perceive her work as an actress. She's not in it for the fame and I admire her for that.

Coming Into Her Own: Keke Palmer

I have never seen her look so amazing before. I never knew she had this in her. I have to keep my eye on her from now on. This was a photo shoot for her new album so I know she didn't style herself but she looks like perfection in every picture. It only opens eyes to the potential she has. She is now on the list of all that I love. I can't wait to hear her album.
