Morning Glory

It's Saturday morning and I'm blogging from work. It's a beautiful day today so I must get out. Luckily, I get off at noon. My Saturday has started off great with the help of a tall cappuccino & bagel from Starbucks. I plan on making another trip to Starbucks later on today.

Also on today menu:

• Barnes & Noble
• Borders
• Polish Nails
• Hang out with friends.

I really want to see Inception. A lot of people from Tumblr were praising it so I want to see what all the fuss is about.

I also have a lot of things on my shopping list that I want to get. I don't know why I'm so hesitant when it comes to shopping online. I see things that I really want but I always think it over for a really long time. I love the waiting process. It's exciting receiving mail of any kind. It's just hard for me to get  pass the actual ordering of the product.

I need to get over it.

Drapey Shirt & Bag from Blink Boutique

I am in love with this bag. I saw it in the store but didn't get it at first. When I got home I  still was thinking about it. If something stays on your mind then most likely you should get it! So I went back to Blink and got it :) It's so roomy. I carry like 3 journals in it. And I can also fit my laptop in it.

My mom knows how much I love Harajuku Lovers. She got me these flip flops. I love them!

I went to Borders Sunday and picked up this book. I read a lot of Young Adult & Women Fiction because that's what I'm going to write about when I become a writer. This book is so good, I read it in two days. It has the classic theme of forbidden love.  Now I have to get the next one, which is called Rules of Attraction. Go and get it!

Let's Make A List

For those of you who do not know, I love to make list! I love to plan stuff and write it down. You will see a lot of lists here. If I don't write it down, it will never get done. Today's list will be of my plan & goals for the summer. I'll also post it on the side bar. Hopefully I get everything on the list done! And I will post my current shopping/wish list on the sidebar. As I get the things on my list, I'll cross them off. Wish me luck!

• Eat healthier
• Only drink water. (Coffee once a week. Sorry guys that's the best I can do. ;^_^)
• More fruit & vegetables.
• No more fast food!
• No Junk food.
• Exercise more.
• 5 days a week.
• Write more
• I haven't been writing much. The way to become a writer is to write, right? So I need to write more. It helps me relieve stress when I don't have anyone to talk to.
• Read more.
• I read a lot but it's the same books over and over. I need to get some new books to read.
• Blog more.
• Which, as you see, I am starting to do. Tumblr is becoming overpopulated with people I know. I liked Tumblr because it was an escape from my reality. Now that people from my reality is on Tumblr my only escape is to write. (& blog) So I will not neglect you anymore. Come back because there will be more.

Black & White

I went by my sister's house Thursday. She lives in Hammond, LA which is about 30 minutes from New Orleans. A bunch of us went to someone's graduation party. It was fun.

I wore my beloved black and white striped t-shirt that I got from American Apparel with some leggings from there. I wore my Steve Madden platform booties which may be my favorite shoes.

Pedicure Season

The flowers are blooming and the sun is shining. Which means I am in a awfully good mood these days. It rains in between but I don't even care. I just love this time of year. 

Yesterday I went to get a pedicure and my nails polished. I got to the nail salon 30 minutes before they closed. The employees were rushing to say the least. One of the men decided he wanted to see if my nails were dry. He touched it and ruined it. Then he tried to fixed it but it didn't work. Since I didn't want to be a pain I didn't make him do it over. Luckily my friend had the same color at home so I'm using that to fix my messed up nail. 

This is the color I got. It's also on my toes too. I didn't even look to see that name of the color but it's by OPI.

What's your favorite nail colors for this beautiful season?

started working again, at a fitness center [free membership; about to get fit ;) ]

Mardi Gras was last Tuesday, spent with bestfriend & boyfriend..the good life 

i never carry my camera, that could've been a post 

..V-Day was last Sunday..not the best but i was with my boyfriend so i'm not complaining

plus he got me my FREECITY sweatpants ^_^

all in all i'm content right now

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Blue Me Away!

I love this color! It makes me feel like I'm channeling Solange; whom I love to pieces. 

SIDENOTE: I'm thinking about switching my major back to Mass Communications from Chemistry. I want to work in PR so badly but I'm afraid I won't live comfortably. I want to create lifestyles and images for people. But the industry is so competitive so I decided to change my major to Chemistry and become a dentist. I don't know what to do. Maybe I should get a degree in science and just take PR classes. What do you all think?

Rain Rain Go Away, Or Stay

Today I went to school and when I was done with class, it was pouring. Now I'm home and watching my favorite movie, Twilight (don't kill me). I'll watch movies for the remainder of the day and maybe do a little studying later. As you can see I'm getting into the habit of  doing more outfit posts. *pats self on back*

Post War

Today I hung out with my friends, Kyle and En. We went a few places. I needed to get out for a while or else I would have spent the day inside watching the Hangover. En likes to be the only dj in his car, which I hate, but whatever.

We made a stop on Oak st. checked out a clothing store and we went into the comic book shop. (Kyle likes comic books, which i think is cool.)

We went to Ihop. There was this cute waiter (pictured below). He had braces. I like braces lol. I couldn't decide what I wanted. He was very patient. Kyle and En decided to make him think I was with En. So I had to try to make him think otherwise. I should have written my number on the receipt. But we asked did he work tomorrow. He works at 6, so maybe then. ;P

My Sister's Birthday Party At the HOB

My sister made twenty-two this week. Yesterday she and a few others had a party at the House of Blues. I haven't been out or had fun in while, so I went. It was freezing outside. My fingers and toes were numb. We waited outside until around 12 in the freezing cold air. I can see I won't be going out much until the warmer months. I went with my friend Raven. It's good to go out with old friends. It's always fun.

Is that necessary?

Things are changing and I can't say I want them to go back to how they were. I'm ready to experience something new. I am a big advocate for change. Five days until I move in my dorm and I can not wait. Won't be far from home but on my own.

Second bestest coming down Friday, suppose to be going out. But i'm also going to want to go out with people from school, maybe Saturday. I was kind of skeptical about work during the school year but I'll on be working like 1 or 2 weekdays. I don't want to be stuck working on Saturdays or Fridays. But whatever, I'll make the best of any situation.

Last Time I Was Out

Well not exactly, but the last time i was out and took pictures.

Me and Tay over at lloveher. got together for a reunion. lol

We went to a party that was over too early. Afterwards we went in the quarters. Then iHop.

Waitress creeped me out completely. Sent back food, ugh.
