THE LIST.
Boys have their toys and we have our. Yes, ours may be floral or neon pink and consist of bags, shoes, rings and of course, clothes. But they all serve us the same purpose: To make life a little more exciting for us. They make us enjoy getting ready for work or school. They make us anticipate where our day will take us. I know that when I feel good about what I'm wearing, what I'm carrying & the things inside of what I'm carrying, I'm going to enjoy my day. I like clean & simple with maybe one or two things that stand out. So here's a few things that are on my shopping list.
Proenza Schouler
I am in love with this bracelet by Proenza Schouler. There are a bunch of different ones ranging from $125-$175. This one is $150. I'm trying to talk myself into buying it since it's basically just a rope bracelet. But I know I'll wear it 150 times (a little rationalization trick I picked up from Eva Chen) so I'm leaning more towards buying it than not. We'll see ;)

The List: Autumn
I've already told you what the look is for Autumn; soft, romantic, dream-like but laid back & comfortable, menswear with a softness (à la Alexa Chung). Now it's time to introduce you all to the list.
Now, while I won't list every single item off of my list, I will show you the essentials.
Yes, a lot of it is from the Alexa Chung for Madewell line. I really love what she has designed. Unlike most celebrity designers, she has made things she would actually wear. I think a lot of what's on this list would work with each other. This may be the best one I've made yet. I can't wait until I start ordering it all. With new clothes, come outfit posts. That's something else to look forward to.
What's on your Fall shopping list?
Whatever it may be,
Happy Autumn!
Autumn Love
Fall is knocking at our doors and I am elated and ready to let it in. My favorite season is here once again and the plans I have for my wardrobe have me more excited than ever before. I have been getting inspiration and ideas from every place imaginable. These are just some for the looks and beauty products that I'll be trying out this Fall. This coming season I plan on dealing with nothing but clean cut, polished pieces with the accessories bringing the edge.
Fall 2010 Muses: Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Heidi Klum, Kourney Kardashian, Blair Waldorf, Emma Watson and Ashley Olsen..to name a few.
Alexa Chung has recently become one of my favorite. Her style is the epitome of the modern lady. She can be dolled up with full skirts and dresses but still look her age. I love that she never has on too much makeup. She's always fresh faced. It's so good to know that we can look like women without looking too old/young or too fake. I adore her style, so expect to see more of her on Studded Bows.
Also, her clothing line, Alexa Chung for Madewell launches September 9th online and September 10th in stores. Go to Madewell.com to check it out. It is my mission to get every piece in my closet this Fall. That's how good it is.

Class Started Two Hours Ago, Oh, Am I Late?
School is about to start once again. Some dread going back and some look forward to it. I'm in between. On the one hand, I love the Fall. I get to wear a bunch of layers and dark colors. On the other, I have to wake up and go to class. I am not a morning person at all. If it was up to me, I'd only come out at night and occasionally midday.
With early days, come the caffeine. I plan on getting another Starbucks card this Fall. Now that they have free wifi, it's going to be like I live there. I can just picture it now: nights at Starbucks in my big comfortable, chunky knit sweaters and Minnetonka moccasin boots, blogging and doing school assignments, my dark violet nails typing away on my Macbook and BlackBerry, drinking caramel macchiatos. Ahh, the life.
Fall, get here now!

Love Child
Spring is here and it is luring me towards all things bohemian, vintage- basically I'm feeling like a hippie.
When I think of this look Nicole Richie and Zoe Kravitz are the two people who come to mind. I love their style.
Here are some of the things on my wishlist that is hippie-esque.
Gold Jewelry & Flowers
Fringe & Tribal Prints
Vest & Tie Dye
High Waists & Patches
Cheap Monday
When you think boho, hippie, moccasins automatically come to mind.
House of Harlow
Minnetonka Moccasins, Topshop
nOir Jewelry Will Make You the Center of Attention
These two are my favorite pieces. Maybe it's because I've always had a thing for bows & butterflies.
There's more after the jump.
Ready or Not, Here Spring Comes
Spring is on it's way and seems like everyone is excited, I know I am.

I can't wait for the chance to be able to wear dresses and shorts again.
I have been creating a wishlist since forever just for next season.
The list is growing every single day. I won't post every single article of clothing or beauty product thats bookmarked on my laptop. I'll just show you the basic, sort of like what will be my Spring uniform.
Essie's Nail Polish
From left to right: green port, funky lime light, bright tights, bahama mama, Bachelorette Bash & aruba blue
Parkas

The Cutest Wedges
In high school I was the wedge queen! lol I mostly wore wedge heels because they're more easier to walk in than pumps or stiletto heeled shoes. I've grown out of that but these may suck me back in.
I may it a objective in the spring to wear wedges on a regular day. I'm not the type of girl to wear heels daily. I only wear them when it's time to go out or to an event that calls for it. I'm trying to break out of my old childish ways when it comes to how I dress. This could be good for me. I'm not officially excited for the spring to come.

These are officially added to the list. I've been seeing them everywhere. They have grown on my heart. When I see them they make me think of Kate Lanphear. Which is a HUGE bonus.
oh yeah & the fact that mary-kate (<3)>
So, do you love?
That Bag!
I had no idea what bag I was going to get for school.
